OUR AIM
Our main aim is to create a database of all Cypriot artists around the globe, enabling them to reach for a worldwide audience through the Internet. It will also allow private collectors, gallery owners, publishers and art lovers in general, to view and purchase artwork and other collectible and rare items. Up-to-date information on galleries and current exhibitions taking place in Cyprus can also be found, as well as links to other art related Internet sites and art news.

ARTIST'S LIST:
Listing is free of charge. Artists of all disciplines and from all career levels are welcome to send in their CV and two images of their work to be listed. On approval, their name, CV and the images will then appear in the artist's list. If an artist's personal website is available, and if desirable, a direct link can appear in their CV.
USERS:
Membership is not necessary to view all pages of artio.com, although one needs to be registered for participating in buying and selling.
Buyers:
To become a Buyer you have to register first with artio.com. All that is required is your name your email address and telephone number. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed online All information given will be confidential.
Sellers:
To become a Seller you have to register first with artio.com. Once registered, you can email or send us by post images of any work you wish to sell on the site. It will cost 15,00 € to display each item of your work for a period of 6 months. You will determine the selling price of your work and keep all profits. Any potential buyers can get in contact with you directly via email through artio.com. All transactions are to be concluded between the Buyer and the Seller. Artio.com has the sole purpose of mediating an Internet contact between the two parties. Delivery should be arranged between the Seller and the Buyer.
RARE ITEMS AND COLLECTIBLES:
Items of value, antiques, collectibles, and generally rare items can be placed for sale under this category. To become a seller of a rare item you have to register as a Seller first with artio.com. Once you become a member you can email or send us by post images of the items you wish to sell through the site. It will cost 15,00 € to display each item for a period of 6 months. You will determine the selling price of the item and keep all profits. Any potential buyers can get in contact with you directly via email through artio.com. All transactions are to be concluded between the Buyer and the Seller. Artio.com has the sole purpose of mediating an Internet contact between the two parties Delivery should be arranged between the Seller and the Buyer.
PRIVATE PLACEMENTS:
A person can place a rare item or artwork for sale under this category anonymously using Artio.com as the contact for any information and for sale. Artio.com will communicate between the two parties. For Private Placement items, the display fee of 15,00 € per item is paid only once, until the item is sold. In addition, when a sale is completed, a commission will be due as per chart below. Delivery can be arranged by artio.com, and it is subject to each purchase.

PAYMENT METHODS:
The primary currency of artio.com is the Euro. You have several payment options to choose from:
i) By Telephone: - call us with your credit card details.
ii) By the Fax order form - send us your order and credit card details by Fax.
iii) Bank Transfer - wire the funds directly to our bank account. Be assured that payment to us using credit card is safe, all transactions are confidential and secure.
For Cypriot Users
All prices shown are inclusive of 15% VAT, and exclusive of delivery charges. For Cyprus customers we also accept personal cheques in CY pounds made payable to: Artio Design Ltd.
For International Users
International customers can contact us if they desire to pay in any other currency.Shipping and delivery charges are subject to each purchase.
Image size requirements:
Please send us a good quality image of your artwork or item for sale if possible of at least 500 pixels high either horizontally or vertically. If desirable, artio.com can undertake the task of photographing any items for insertion in Private Placement. Please contact artio.com for further details.
