STATHIS LIVANIS
Stathis Livanis was born in 1941 at Ithaca Island, Greece. He took painting courses with Thalia Flora-Karavia (1965-68) and studied drawing at Hans Meyer's workshop (1960-62). He also studied stage design under Marios Angelopoulos at Stavrakos Hellenic Cinema & Television School in Athens (1965-68). Artworks by Livanis are kept at many prestigious institutions, including the National Bank, National Gallery and the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. He currently lives and works in Paris and Athens.
